Who am I?
I am a wife, mother, teacher, and a coach. I moved to Georgia when I was 9 and attended Menlo Elementary and Chattooga High School. I decided to be a math teacher when I was in 8th grade. I graduated from Berry College with a degree in Secondary Math Education and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Jacksonville State University. I began teaching at Summerville Middle School. After my first year, I transferred to Lyerly Elementary and taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math for 3 years. I then transferred to Chattooga High School to teach math. I just completed my 18th year of teaching!!!
Along with teaching, running is my passion. I am currently the cross country coach and track coach. I love helping others become healthy and fit. I have completed 15 full marathons and several half marathons. My long term goal is to complete a marathon in every state!
I am married to Brian Beasley and a mother of three beautiful children, CJ, Jacie, and Ellie. We are always on the go and love to be outside as much as possible. "Life isn't measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away"
